The M65 is a cost-effective quad-band GSM/GPRS 2G module measuring 17.7mm × 15.8mm × 2.4mm which uses LCC castellation packaging. The M65 is pin-to-pin compatible with Quectel’s GSM/GPRS M66 and M66 R2.0 modules.
The M65 uses surface mounted technology, making it ideal for large-scale manufacturing, which can have strict requirements on cost and efficiency. The M65’s compact form factor, low power consumption and extended temperature range allow it to serve a range of IoT applications including wearable devices, PDAs, automotive, asset tracking, POS, smart metering and telematics.
