Description
Overview
The Quectel RG255C series is a 5G RedCap Sub-6 GHz LGA module built to 3GPP Release 17 RedCap, with 5G LAN / URLLC / Slicing support and a theoretical peak rate of 223 Mbps downlink and 123 Mbps uplink, plus LTE Cat 4 fallback. It is backward-compatible with Rel-15 and Rel-16 networks and partially compatible with the Quectel EG2x 4G series for compact designs. Four variants (RG255C-GL / NA / EU / CN) cover major regions, and an optional multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, BDS, QZSS and Galileo) simplifies positioning.
