Module and ordering identity
SIM7000E is a solder-down cellular module for low-throughput IoT equipment. Select the complete ordering code and firmware for your destination network before designing or purchasing.
The reference photograph is labeled SIM7000E, P/N S2-1073Z-Z1T5F. This identifies the pictured sample; the supplied P/N, hardware revision, firmware and batch are confirmed in the quotation. Antennas, SIM card, host board and development accessories are not automatically included.
The gallery also retains an EVB carrying SIM7000E. That populated board is an integration example, not the sales form of this bare-module entry.
Reference specifications

Variant and design checks
The current public E table and V:2020.03 specification include B5; Hardware Design V1.09 page 9 omits B5 in the E column. Confirm this document/revision difference before relying on B5. SIM7000E-N is a separate NB-IoT-only variant and must not inherit this E table.
PSM and eDRX depend on network configuration and application duty cycle; a ten-year battery life is not guaranteed for a finished design. Mechanical or AT-command similarities to SIM900/SIM800F do not establish a direct replacement: review power, pins, RF, firmware and migration instructions.
Documents and compliance
SIMCom SIM7000X official product and document center lists SIM7000_Series_SPEC_20240709 and Hardware Design V1.09. The 20240709 document requires manufacturer login and its body was not available for this review. The local three-page V:2020.03 specification is an archived version; the 69-page Hardware Design V1.09 is dated 2021-04-19. These are technical documents, not certificates.
Request the matched specification, hardware guide, firmware notes and independent compliance documents during enquiry follow-up. Manufacturer file listings include certificates and test reports with different model/revision scopes. Labels, historical files and family certification tables do not independently establish the certification or current validity of the quoted module or assembled board.
