Description
Product identity and supplied items
DIP40CORE-A brings BG95 signals to a 40-pin development and integration board. Confirm both the PCB revision and fitted module suffix.
The online graphics show DIP40CORE-A BG95 V1.0 with placeholder module identifiers. A local reference photograph reads BG95-M3 / BG95M3LA-64-SGNS and PCB BG95 V1.1; it is a different revision.
The quotation confirms the full P/N, firmware, quantity and included accessories. Photographs and illustrations do not establish current stock.
Technical reference and variant table
Retained BG95 40PIN DIP PCBA Specification, Product Model DIP40CORE-A BG95 V1.0, released 2023-04-06, 10 pages; final revision row says Preliminary. This is a board technical specification, not an independent certificate.
| V1.0 dimensions | 56 x 29.4 x 1.0 mm as listed. Confirm whether 1.0 mm describes PCB thickness and request the assembled-height drawing. |
|---|---|
| V1.0 supply paths | VIN pin 2: 4.8-12 V, nominal 5 V. VBAT pin 39: 3.3-4.3 V, nominal 3.8 V. Never energize VIN and VBAT together. When USB Type-C is connected, neither VIN nor VBAT may be externally powered (page 9). |
| Logic and SIM | The V1.0 pin tables specify 1.8 V logic and a 1.8 V SIM. Do not wire GPIO directly to 3.3/5 V hosts without checking level conversion. |
| Interfaces | Main/debug/GNSS UART, USB and exposed control signals. Follow the matched pin table; boot-configuration pins must not be pulled up before startup. |
| Radio and revision | The V1.0 table presents two LTE band lists without clear mode labels. Confirm Cat M1/NB2/EGPRS bands against the fitted BG95 suffix; do not transfer all family bands to M3. |
| Power control | V1.0 describes automatic start and optional component changes. Request the V1.1 schematic and startup instructions before using the newer pictured board. |
Selection and integration
A 40-pin connector does not establish Raspberry Pi or other header compatibility. Confirm polarity, PCB revision, firmware, antenna supply and GNSS options. RoHS wording in the board specification is not an independent conformity document.

Hardware manuals, specifications and catalogues are technical references. Request current independent approvals, declarations or operator records matched to the full model, firmware and destination during enquiry follow-up. A logo, family list or historical document does not establish current approval of the quoted module or finished device.
